Laser marking or engraving is highly readable and leaves a permanent mark that enables effective trace ability. So lasers are used in a dynamic and highly adaptable process for a range of marking applications. Such as High-speed characters, Logos, Graphics, Bar codes, 2D Data Matrix marking etc.
Marking Capabilities
- Engraving
- Carbon migration
- Annealing
- Layer removal
- Discoloration
Laser Source Types
Your application and marking material decide which laser source type you need. So you may require fiber laser, co2 laser, UV laser or others.
Wide Variety of Metals & Plastics
Fiber Lasers use an optical fiber doped with rare-earth elements such as ytterbium. They are versatile marking systems that mark the widest variety of parts, including:
-
- Steel and Stainless steel
- Bare and Cast Aluminum
- Copper
- Titanium
- Plastics
Anodized Aluminum
Compared with ordinary material or pure material, Anodized aluminum is special. In our life, the most common using of anodized aluminum is phone case. Now we main use MOPA fiber laser source do black marking or grey marking on anodized aluminum.
Plastics
UV & Green laser source have wide application on plastic marking, such as ABS, PVC etc. Compared with fiber laser source, UV & green laser is much more expensive. So their sales is not very well now. and now they are main used on IT industry, precision electric product etc.
