Question 1:

Is the cutting effect abnormal?cause of issues

1.Whether the cutting parameter is correct.

2.Whether the cutting focus adjustment is correct.

3.Cutting gas source problems.

4.Cutting head lens problems.

Troubleshooting plan

1. Check the cutting parameters and the cutting focus position.

2. Check if the gas is sufficient and the gas purity.

Observe the air pressure gauge on the gas cylinder according to the selected cutting gas (O2, N2).

If the oxygen is about 10 kg, check whether the output gas voltage value of the cutting system

corresponds to the value displayed by the gas proportional valve,

generally 10V corresponds to 10 kg.

Nitrogen should be adjusted according to the thickness of the cut sheet.

Purity can be achieved by looking at the gas cylinder label to meet the purity of 99.9% or more.

If the nitrogen cutting is used, the end face of the stainless steel can be cut,

and the yellowness of the end face is low, and the high-purity gas needs to be replaced immediately.

3.Take out the protective lens to check if there is pollution,

if there is pollution, it is necessary to clean the lens.

4. Check whether inner lens and fiber end face of cutting head are normal

according to the method in the third fault handling scheme.

If the position is wrong, adjust to the correct position.

Question 2:

Is it easy to offset during cutting process? cause of issue

1. The fiber is loose.

2. Adjust the module problem.

3. The ceramic body is loose.

4. The nozzle is loose.

Troubleshooting plan

1. Check if the fiber is lock

2. Contact the cutting head manufacturer.

3. Check if the ceramic body and nozzle is locked. If it is loose, we needs to re-reinforce it.

Cutting and perforating technology: Any kind of thermal cutting technology, except for a few cases that can start from the edge of the board, generally must wear a small hole in the board. Early on the laser stamping compounding machine, a hole was punched out first with a punch, and then laser cutting was started from the small hole.

For laser cutting machines without a stamping device there are two basic methods for perforating.

(1) Blast drilling: After the material is irradiated with continuous laser light, a pit is formed in the center, and then the molten material is quickly removed by the oxygen flow coaxial with the laser beam to form a hole.

(2) Pulse drilling: Pulse high-power pulsed laser is used to melt or vaporize a small amount of material, commonly used air or nitrogen as an auxiliary gas, in order to reduce the hole expansion due to exothermic oxidation, the gas pressure is lower than the oxygen pressure when cutting small. Each pulsed laser produces only a small particle spray, which is progressively deeper, so the thick plate piercing time takes several seconds. Once piercing is complete, the auxiliary gas is immediately replaced with oxygen for cutting.

In this way, the diameter of the perforation is smaller and the perforation quality is better than the perforation. The laser used for this purpose should not only have a higher output power; more importantly, the temporal and spatial characteristics of the time beam, so the general cross-flow CO2 laser cannot adapt to the requirements of laser cutting.

Yesterday my American agent had a visiting and training in our factory.

He want to know how to clean the laser machine lens?

First we need to notice:
Looking for a clean room or ultra clean workbench and a fully equipped lens cleaning toolbox
Clean Toolbox should be: 1. Lens Cleanser (isopropyl alcohol or anhydrous ethanol) 2. Clean Air (filtered compressed air) 3. Lens Removal Tool 4. Cotton swab 5. Gloves 6. Collimator Disassembly Tool 7. Lens cleaning paper (dust-free cloth)
1.Cleanliness of slight stains
A slight stain on the optical lens can be blown directly off with clean air.
2.Medium Stain Cleaning
If the optical element is not fully cleaned with clean air, continue with the following steps:
Firstly,
Place the optical element on the bracket in the cleaning toolbox (you can also use your finger to take the side of the lens directly, and you must not touch the upper and lower surfaces of the lens with your finger).
Secondly,
Place the lens cleaning paper on the optical component and drip 2 to 3 drops of lens cleanser.
Thirdly,
Slowly drag the cleaning paper horizontally on the lens or lens to ensure no drag marks, and the lens becomes clean after dragging.

Fifthly,
If the oil is serious, use a swab to clean the mirror. Only lightly force on the surface of the optical component. Gently rotate the cotton swab along the longitudinal axis to remove dust as much as possible.

The lens pollution is serious, also may use the dust-free paper (or dust-free cloth to clean up), takes a clean dust-free paper to fold 2 times, the lens cleanser sprays in the right angle position after the folded. Grasp the lens (note the finger can not touch the upper and lower end of the lens), the other hand with dust-free paper, coated with a lens cleaner side of the lens to clean the surface, with the index finger light pressure on the other side, gently push the dust-free paper along the surface of the lens clockwise rotation

Firstly, check whether the offset, if there is offset, to adjust.
Secondly,remove the protection lens inspection, pay attention to protect the lens seat after removal must use the paper to live cutting head leakage empty position. Do not remove the protective mirror seat after blowing gas.
Thirdly,Check the internal optical lens of cutting head.

How to solve it?

Firstly,check whether the ceramic body, nozzle with damaging and loosing. if there is damaging or loosing, the replacement and reinforcement.
Secondly, after remove the ceramic body and nozzle, check the cutting head ceramic installation position contact. if there is damage, you need to contact the supplier for replacement.
Thirdly,Check if the signal cable is disconnected.
If there is no obvious damage, you can use the multimeter after the engineer under the guidance of the specific inspection.

Yesterday one Pakistan customer sent me an inquiry on the fiber laser cutting machine.He need to cut about 6mm carbon steel.

Actually,6mm carbon steel is really easy for 1000w laser power. 750w can cut 6mm CS, thats the maximum cutting thickness.

But usually we do not recommend customers to have a longer time for limit cutting.

Why can not have a limit cutting?

If there is a large quantity of 6mm CS cutting by 750w, the laser head will be a higher temperature,harmful to the head using time.

The laser source also can not stand the longer limit cutting for a longer time,the using time will be shorter.

The laser source and laser head are the important machine parts,if the two parts are not good,that will affect the whole machine using.

Can you imagine that you buy one machine with USD40000,but just work 1 year or 2year?that waste your cost and time.

Still not so bad,the customer know this situation,and they need the higher cutting speed,so he told us,they need a comparison of the cutting speed.
