2.Secondly,as for the laser type

We suggest the fiber laser,which is socially used in the keyboard industry.

As for fiber,there are two kinds:fiber Raycus and fiber mopa

3.How to choose?fiber is better ?or mopa?

In order to give best suggestion,when u buy the machine,u need to tell us the keyboard info

1)Waht is the keyboard brand? 2)laptop or desktop?  3)Black,white or silver color?  4)backlight or not?

Especially for keyboard marking,there are many kinds of materials.Different material,different marking result.

4.Raycus for backlight Max keyboard

If ur keyboard is only backlight model,such as Mac Air A1466,etc.30w or 50w Raycus is okay.50w with 300*300mm lens is the best choice.If budget is not enough,30w is also okay,but as for 30w with 300*300mm lens ,the marking speed would be a little slow.

5.Mopa for others

Besides that,mopa is the best choice for u.Especially when u want to mark white color on black color.If u want to use Raycus,the marking effect may be a little with gray or yellow color,instead of white.Acccording to our experience ,30wmopa can achieve a good outcome.

6.Difference between Raycus and mopa

In order to let you know more about the mopa and Raycus laser,here share you the difference:
MOPA laser and Raycus or IPG laser are both 1064nm wavelength laser beam.
1)MOPA laser source is Pulse width (2ns-250ns)  and Pulse frequency (1-1000HZ) , so MOPA laser is more flexible.
2)Raycus laser is Normal Q-Switched laser source,  Pulse width and pulse frequency are fixed, can not be changed.
Pulse width 90-130 ns,repetition frequency 30-100 kHz.

When marking on the plastics,such as pvc and keyboard,the mopa effect is more delicate and can not make the black plastic become yellow and gray.
That’s why we suggest you mopa marking machine.

1.The main difference of the two types of mopa laser marking machine

1.about the marking size:

–Our standard machine max marking size is 300*300mm.But it can put big size product than marking size.If you product size is 300*450mm,it can put it on the machine,but the max marking size is 300*300mm.so

Whether it is a mopa or fiber,it just can mark colors on stainless steel.

The diffierents between mopa and fiber,just the laser source is differents,other parts are same.

mopa laser width pulse can be adjusted,fiber laser width pulse is fixed.

If you want to mark colors use Mopa laser marking machine,the best marking area is 200*200mm.
Acoording to our expertise,200*200mm marking area marking effect is better and easy to adjust.
But if you don’t need to mark color,you can change 300*300 mm working lens.it meanthat  you need to buy an extra 300*300mm working lens.

3.Difference between M1+ and M6+,color marking machine

And then,the main difference is in adjustable pulse width.
M1+: 6-200ns
M6+: 2-200ns
U can see,M6+ has wider range.
So it has wider color range and the color effect can be brighter.
But the difference is not so big.

4.Watt,color marking machine

Generally speaking,for color marking,
we always suggest 20w M1+ to customer,it is enough.
If need faster speed ,or strict color demand, or want deep engraving too,u can also suggest 30w.

MOPA fiber laser marking machine belongs to the category of fiber laser marking machine. MOPA fiber laser marking machine adopts direct electric modulation semiconductor laser as the seed source. It has perfect laser characteristics and good pulse shape control ability.

Compared with Q-switched fiber lasers, MOPA fiber lasers are independently controllable in pulse frequency and pulse width. It can achieve a constant peak power output with two laser parameters. What is Mopa laser marking machine?

What is Mopa laser marking machine?  As a sales person, for this question, I was often asked. So what is the Mopa laser on earth? I will give all the persons who read my blog a best answer.

Mopa principle

Mopa is a name of laser source type. The difference between Mopa and regular fiber laser marking machine is not too big. Because, Mopa is fiber laser in principle. But Mopa’s pulse is adjustable. But for regular fiber laser machine, the laser source’s pulse is fixed. However both of them are fiber laser, the only difference in principle is whether it adjust the pulse.

Thus, why people design a laser source that could adjust laser pulse? What is it used for?

Since people can adjust the laser pulse, then it achieves multi-color marking on metal materials.

Like the video below, We used Mopa to coloring mark stainless steel.

Mopa Functions

But as you can see, the speed of color marking is very slow.  So what other advantage make Mopa still occupy the laser marking market?

At present, the aluminium oxide is a general materials for smart phone case. The Mopa laser is very good to do it. If use the regular fiber laser source to mark aluminium oxide. It won’t mark black on it. You will see it is the grey color if you see at the front.  But if you see from two sides,  it will turn to black. And you can feel burr on the material surface. But using Mopa laser, these questions will be gone.

And  If you bought a Mopa marking machine. You just set the pulse be fixed. Then the machine will become a fiber laser marking machine. Then it will enhance the speed of marking. So the Mopa laser machine could become a regular laser marking machine. So that is why, price of Mopa will higher than fiber laser. Mopa laser machine has more functions.

The last chapter we talked about three laser marking machine’s difference. Now, we are going to talk about some detail laser marking machine. If you have seen our website or our products of pamphlet. You will see many different laser marking machines.

The model is different. How about the function?  Actually the functions are the same. We made the different model, because base on the customer’s working space and working standard. Some places, in this world, has their own standard for safety. So we put a cover on it.   Some customers want to set the machine on his table, but someone wants to have a desktop. It is all depends on customer’s requirement. Except machines with protective cover, the rest of machines are able to do flying marking.

Power

The different power will change the machine’s efficiency. In theory, the speed of machine marking will increase by enhance of the power. For all kinds of metal, fiber laser marking machine will mark 0.01mm is the maximum depth once time. But if you want deeper or even engrave or cut, the machine will let the light repeat on the materials. Thus the power is higher, the speed of repeat is higher as well. If you look at the machine’s appearance, you can not figure out the power. Because the only change is the laser source. However, we put the laser source in the machine body. You have to open it and see the difference.

Working Area

We provide three kinds of workbench size now, 100*100mm, 200*200mm,300*300mm. It is depends on how big the material is. For marking effect, those three working area are the same. But, because of the laser is a kind of light, it has focal length. So If you want to engrave or cut something big. I advise you send us your materials to check how is the effect. Because the laser’s power will decrease by length. Or you can choose flying marking to handle this issue. XT Laser will set up the parameter for you. We have a strong team for technique support.
